ACP for GRCPINW on SAP_BASIS 4.6C?

Former Member

Hi experts!

SAP has made available Attribute Change Packages for GRC in order to lower the import conditions for the addon installation.

For example: Note 1501882 - GRCPINW V1000_640 Inst/Delta Upg on SAP_BASIS 640

ACP_GRCPINW_V1000_700.SAR attached to the note 1619929. This ACP  will change the import attributes of the OCS package as follows

            SAP_BASIS 640   SAPKB64010

            SAP_ABA   640   SAPKA64010

Has anyone implemented an ACP for 4.6C or known if it is available? what about 4.6B? any experience to share?

Thanks!!

Diego.

Hi Diego,

There should be one as to my knowledge for the 4.6C GRCPINW but not for the ERP PlugIn.

The ACP would require:

SAP_ABA      46C     SAPKA46C48

SAP_APPL    46C     SAPKH46C48

SAP_BASIS   46C     SAPKB46C48

You might open a message to SAP to obtain the ACP, or follow SAP Note

Thanks Ferenc

We're already performing risks analysis by uploading the files (legacy connector) but it's not the same as an online analysis via RFC, I mean,it requires much more manual effort. SP lever is much lower than 48 so I guess we won't have another option

Diego.

Thank you Rajesh!

The required SP levels are:

SAP_BASIS                              SAPKB46C55

SAP_ABA                                SAPKA46C55

How did you get the ACP to install it with SP 54?

Cheers,

Diego.

Hi Diego,

ACP package for V1000_46C also requires minimum SP level 48.

SAP_ABA      46C     SAPKA46C48

SAP_APPL     46C     SAPKH46C48

SAP_BASIS    46C     SAPKB46C48

So if yours is lower than 48, then legacy connector approach would be the best and ONLY option available. Yeah..you are right that manual efforts are required to setup legacy connectivity and run the risk analysis.

Thanks & Regards

Neeraj

Hi Diego,

It is the same procedure as with the normal packages. You upload the ACP (along with the base package) into the EPS/in and you let read it in with SPAM. It then lowers the requirements so you can install the PlugIn, of course when conditions are met.

That's all.

Hi Diego,

On AC5.3, SAP provided the ACP on SP 44 level. Seemingly, SAP has upgraded its 4.6C Testsystem

There is a slight difference what you upload and how compared to AC5.3, also some bumps in the way to overcome.

I find the current structure somewhat inconsistent and redundant but thats off-topic.

Cheers, Ferenc

Thank you very much!

We'll continue using the legacy connector.
