Recording through SCAT transaction

Hi Experts,

I am new to this eCATT.I have to do record through SCAT transaction, required transaction is MM02 to change the material specification.

I am downloading the file through menu option GOTO -> VARIANT-> Export Default. After that I am changing the values in the file based on my input parameters.

In this I am facing 2 situations:

1) It is uploading the file successfully, when only materials numbers are included.

2) If I include the other input parameter values (like weight-KG), it is showing some error.

And one more doubt, this recording session name will become a trasaction ?

Please guide me on this.

Hi Murali,

You are talking about eCATT but you mention transaction SCAT.

To use eCATT you have to use transaction SECATT. Please be aware that from SAP Netweaver 6.40 onwards, it is not possible to create new CATT Scripts with SCAT.

You should use SECATT.

If you are facing the same issue with SECATT, please post the related Log with the step that has the error and the step before, fully expanded.
