Regarding FIPOS in MDG-F..

Dear Team,

I understand that in SAP Finance after creating a GL or cost center or profit center etc, FIPOS t-code is executed to commit the created records. Is this FIPOS t-code automatically executed in case of MDG-F when a GL, cost center, profit center etc is created or changed.

Regards,

Tushar.

Hi Tushar,

MDG-F works in Flex mode which means that all the data is stored in MDG generated tables. If you want to send data to the FI tables, i guess you need to implement the functionality in DRF. The main purpose of MDG-F is to provide the time dependency concept via Editions. If you are not using editions in MDG-F, one of the main purpose of creating MDG-F by SAP is not being served.

  Experts please clarify.

Best Regards,

Kiran
