We are relatively new with CPS. The examples that are given for Raising Events is not very well explained. We understand the concepts of Raising events but the there does not seem to be many good examples including a screen shot of how to actually create the event. Does someone have a good document, step by step on raising event job A has to finish before Job B can begin. Any help on the expression needed to complete this would be helpful. The one example on the CPS help page does not really help. We have a least a dozen jobs that need to wait before other jobs can start. Also is there a way to Raise Event for a job in a job chain to finish before another job or job chain can begin?
Dear customer
Target: Job A or job a under job chain -->finish-->trigger event A-->trigger start for Job B or job b under job chain
Could you please follow steps:
1,create event A from "Event Definitions";
2,add event A to the paramter of "Raise Events" of Job A or job a under job chain("" to "completed");
3,add event A to the paramter of "Wait Events" of Job B or job b under job chain ("" to "always").
best regards,
Gao Feng
