Automatically PO closed after validity end

Dear,   Kindly suggest,  1) Automatically close of normal Po when PO validity period end or after 1 month. 2) Check PO validity start & end- GAP should not be more than 1 month. 3) POP-up of PO close 1 day before.  Any User exit or development.  Kindly help.  Thanks & regards  Varun

Did you maintaining validity period for normal PO's (without outline agreements) ? In system.

If this is the case - your 2nd question answer will VARIOUS options.

After 1 month from creation date or delivery date ? If it is after 1 month of creation date and a pop-up 1 day before -

Just send an email to user with a report output which all PO's are going to expire 3 days earlier and let user finalize to mark closed or open.

Do you maintain the validity period in the PO header?

How does sytem close the PO automatically. Either you have to create a Custom program according to your requirement to close the PO's and define a background job or You have to run the custom program manually daily.

To have a pop you may have to put custom validation in user exit programs ZXM06U43 / ZXM06U44 or through Badi ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST.

Hi your  requirement is possible through po filed latest possible gr date. if material comes after this date system will not allow you to make gr. if you want system automatically calculate date in po you can use badi ME_process_po_cust.
