Hi. Finally the solution was to use a simbolic link like UNIX... but in Windows.. we can "use" this point (mklink).
E:\usr\sap\\DVEBMGS00\exe to E:\usr\sap\QE6\DVEBMGS00\exe ; the lesson here is NOT USE NOTEPAD to copy ans paste text .. THIS software put strange simbols you dont see... but Linux...unix can see and even in Windows.. looks like the java programs sapinst use can read them ... thats all.
yajuuu!

Hi.
Im have this issue and a can make a progress. In the sappfcar command in the line SYSTEMNAME appear a strange ASCII character.
I proceed to copy the parameters from START_ & SID_DVEBMGS00 files. Erase the original and create them again and copy the content i backup berofe erase the original files.
This work nice for the last phases. Now i dont khow where or why i cann't find the parameter call
Kernel Path. Theres i lose the SID again.

I checked the sapfpar all & sappfpar check against the START_ and SID_DVEBMGS00 file and is ok.
Do you find any solution?.. someone???
Tx .
Cesar.

In the phase KX_CHANGE_KRNPATH_PUPG
The new value for the DIR_EXECUTABLE was assigned. But incredible the log say SUCESSFULLY, but its wrong.
3 ETQ399 Retrieved profile value 'DIR_EXECUTABLE' as 'E:\usr\sap\\DVEBMGS00\exe'.
Looks like the process of sappfpar corrupted the process in the file *.PPR with a symbol ASCII . Is required to make a validation of the profile path. The wrong value is storage is in some place in the memory. Please your help to change the wrong value.

Hello,
One of my colleague had exactly the same problem today.
Did you finally find the solution ?
If yes, it would be very kind to share it.
Best Regards,
Olivier
