can we quit re-designation action in between - lsmw

HI SAP Guru's

We have to perform redesignation action for close to 200 employees through , here we are looking to change only " DESIGNATION OF EMPLOYEE". But through PA40 we have sequence of infotypes which would be updated to have data consistency while performing action. The series of infotypes of this action are IT0000,IT0001,IT0027,IT0007,IT0008. My client is not OK with PA30. Here he want to change IT0000 and IT0001 start date and designation fields and quit the action in between. My question is " IS it advisable to quit action in between"????\

Designation change means change of position right , in that case why can we do the change from OM side

We are not changing position number, We have created new designation field under  Additional fileds in which we change designation change.

In that case run the action and skip those infotypes which u dont require

Hi,

Even though you have series of infotypes in infogroups whichever infotype you don't need you can skip.

or else just maintain one action with only relevant infotypes which is required.
