Hii..
I have 2.5 years of experience in sap abap. Presently I am working as a SAP ABAP CONSULTANT in a user end company. I Have good knowledge in core ABAP. I want to enhance my abap skills in some advanced areas of SAP which is in demand presently. Can anybody tell me what will be best for me in technical point of view??
Dipanjan,
Apologies if I have misunderstood your question, but going by 'Core ABAP', i presume you mean standard ABAP development?...
I've just attended BC401 ABAP Objects Course. I would reccommend it highly to any ABAP developer who is new to OO. We even had people who were only attending for Certification, learn new things, tips & tricks and best practices.
The course covers the theory behind OO programming in general, and the SAP specific rules. It has helped me start to use Web Dynpro ABAP and understand SAP standard Classes and how to use them.
If going on SAP courses is not an option, search for the main concepts behind OO programming, such as Inheritance and Polymorphism, moving on to creating local classes, error handling... Then move on to Global Classes, using the Class Builder ( SE24 ) and class-based exceptions.
Personally, I want to attend the Web Dynpro course later this year, once I am comfortable with ABAP Objects.

No problem Dipanjan.
If you are interested, I have just been watching the Introductions to Web Dynpro videos by Thomas Jung. They are a great starting point, if you are looking to persue Web Dynpro further.
