Hello Experts,

Is it possible to copy/change the location of the UWL buttons?

I need to set the buttons below the table  (see attached screenshot).

Regards,

Omri

Hi Omri,

I am not sure about this, but I think the only place you would be able to control this (if you can at all) is in the XML configuration files for the UWL. You should take a look at the View configuration, in particular the attribute actionPosition see this from the SAP Help Docs:

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw73/helpdata/en/4b/03bbe965482591e10000000a42189b/content.htm?frameset=...

I hope this helps,
Simon

Hi Simon,

I tried playing with the 'actionPosition' parameter with no success.

No matter which value I set (top, bottom, both), the buttons stay in the same location.

I cleared the cache and opened new session after each change in the UWL configuration file.

Any ideas?

p.s

I'm using portal version 7.01 SP6.

Sorry Omri. It may not be possible to configure this position in that case. Sorry I can't help more.

Hi Simon,

In the following (old) document the actions (buttons) are right below the table (page 17).

I will open an OSS message and update this thread.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Prasad

In the past I have come across discussions scenarios that deal with moving the position of user decision buttons. I have outlined some SAP Help Threads below for your reference and review:

Button Move UWL

http://scn.sap.com/thread/1842225

UWL I-View Move Decision Buttons

http://scn.sap.com/thread/743301

A point to highlight here is be sure to perform a backup of the XML files. This will allow you to revert back changes if needed.

Kindly update me as per your findings.

Kind Regards

Troy
