different between payment term and purchasing term

kindly , i need to know what is the different between payment term and purchasing term ,

as my knowledge and me expert in sap the payment term it will apply on incoming invoices and when pay to vendor ,

but really i can't understand where can use the purchasing term condition .

Hi

Purchasing view payment term is used to clear payment to vendor with reference to PO whereas

Accounting view payment term is used to clear payment to vendor without reference to PO.

Thanks for you responce

but kindly , can you help me With an example ,

as my expert  when create Payment term to vendor with condition  (60 day due 2% cash dis 30 day)

it will apply on invoice and when create payment it will apply on it and it will create cash discount if i

pay within 30 day as per the above condition ,

Kindly i need example to know what is Purchasing view payment term uses

Hi

Purchasing view payment term is used to clear payment to vendor with reference to PO (Example: MIRO) whereas

Accounting view payment term is used to clear payment to vendor without reference to PO (Example: FB60).
