error : Transaction could not be saved: item statuses could not be updated

Hello Gurus,

We are using CRM EHP2 and in Assignement block Transactio History there is field availaible susbsequent assignment.  The user is trying to add the reference sales order by opening existing opportunity transaction whose status is won.  So the system is allowing in some opp. transaction to save it without error.  But in some opportunity transaction system is not allowing to save the document and the message displayed is warning message TRANSACTION COULD NOT BE SAVED; ITEM STATUSES COULD NOT BE UPDATED.  There is SAP note 1442382 but we are on support pack SAPKU70203.

Please help with direction to resolve the issue.

Hi,

I had the same problem, it was due to missing authorization:

object  S_TRANSLAT

ACTVT = 02

TLANGUAGE = EN

TRANOBJ = LONG, SHRT

and object B_USERST_T

ACTVT = 01

BERSL = dummy

OBTYP = COI

STSMA - your status profile for opp. item
