Hi all,
I am working on an enterprise hana project (not bw on hana). I have been asked to provide a detail internal order analysis report.
In this report, user also wants to see cost center data.
from a bw perspective I undertstand that Internal Orders are part of "Order and project Accounting' and cost centers are part of
cost center accounting. I have not come across bw reports that will give both data elements in same report (probably because it is
not best practice and purpose of both is slightly different - internal order may or may not be settled to cost center).
Could you please give me any pros and cons of having these two elements in the same report. This will help me understand
if i should accept the requirement or push back as it might not be the right thing to do.
thanks,
anya
Hi Anya, Yes this can be do able. The infocube 0COOM_C02 will hold the cost and quantities on Cost center, internal orders, wbs elements etc.. There is a standard query in BW 0COOM_C02_Q0004 which has Internal Orders for Cost Center: Plan/Actual data. Have a look at this, https://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/33/6db6385443bd7ae10000009b38f8cf/frameset.htm https://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/8d/1f383fe58d5900e10000000a114084/frameset.htm Hope this helps...
