How can copy existing transport request to new transport request

Dear All,

Kindly let me know, If all customizing task maintained in old transport request, i need to be copy all customizing task to new TR.

Please help me out ,Its on urgent basis.

Hi,

on SE10, create a new request of type "transport of copies":

give it a description and specify the target system:

Then, include objects from the old requests using the following button:

(4th button, next to the trash can - "include objects")

Finally, specify the old request "number" on the following prompt (where it says "request" on the following image):

and that's it! You have a new request with all the objects from the old request.

Don't forget that the old request has to be released before you can include any objects from it on a "transport of copies" request.

Hi Deepak,

The way is you can delete the objects from old Tr and save them in new TR that wil solve the problem.

Deepak,

What all objects are there delete them.

Right click on the object name and say delete.

Then go to that object and save it in new TR.

For example a program z_test in one TR. Delete it from TR and go to SE38 change same program and when it asks for TR provide new TR name. That will solve your problem.

There is another way also if you double click on TR you will get the list of objects added to TR copy paste same objects from old TR however i dont think you will have a authorization to do that.
