Solved: AS ABAP - Starting instance

Re: SAP NW7 EHP 1 MAxDb installation

I get the following error (The message in the status bar is 'Analyzing log files'.

Any ideas?

Can you paste the logs?

1. check the database is up or not.

2. check the log directory might get full.

Db is on. How do I check if the log files are full?

I didnt delete any content. Seems to be a problem with this thread. Retry/ Refresh numerous times then it should appear.

Try to start the instance from MMC with sidadm user.

if it does not start , paste the dev_disp , dev_w0 from work directory.

Hi abu,

mainatain the entry of host in host file

<ip> XXXXXX.emea.tibco.com XXXXXX (first ip , fqdn name , host name here XXXXXX hostname)

this will resolve the issue and also paste the content of host file.
