Hello all,
We have have recently completed a BW (DS) 7.01 -> 7.31 upgrade and in the process we moved from kernel 7.20 NUC to 7.20 EXT NUC.
However post upgrade we are trying to update the kernel and I keep on getting the following errors:
sapgparamILE: program SAPPFPAR/SAPPFPAR does not return data via pipe
and
ERROR: Parameter DIR_CT_RUN missing in profile '/sapmnt/<SID>/profile/<SID>_DVEBMGS<##>_sap<sid>'
I have examined the profile and confirmed that the entry is there and that the user <SID>ADM has access to the file.
Has anyone ever face this issue? If so, I would greatly appreciated knowing how you fixed the issue.
Highest regards,
Yannick C.
Hi Yannick,
Presumably you applied the workaround of note 1702912 a while ago by setting environment variable SAPGPARAMILE_LIBRARY system wide. If so you should remove it again as it was only a temporary workaround causing the current kernel to look into the wrong directions at some decision points.
Hope that helps
Thomas
