Deletion of BOM

Hello PP Sapper’s,

I have an issue where my user has deleted the current BOM and when he is trying to create a new BOM he is facing issue.

Can any one please guide me whether the deleted BOM can be revoked or not in std SAP

If yes please explain with your valuable inputs in detail?

If no please let me know from you as well?

This is what you need to do

1. Go to table MAST (using tcode SE16N) and enter the header material number. Note down the BOM number

2. Got to STKO and enter the BOM number from step 1 and see if any entry exists

If no entry exists then you cannot restore your bom.

If there is any entry (which happens if they used change number to delete) then you can restore the BOM.

Deleted BOM can not be revoked or not in standard SAP.so if bom is deleted better go to the production order related to material & create the bom with validity from as defined in deleted bom.all material values copy from production order.

Hi Kumar,

You cannot revoke the BOM once it is deleted. What problem you are facing when creating new bom? Do not forget to change bom validity date as per previous bom. All material and values copy from old production order.

Dear kumar,

    Once you deleted a BoM it is not possible to revoked from SAP.better go to coois tcode-open one order related to that material,then click on component overview,from here copy all details & create a new BOM as same as ole one.

Hi kumar,

  If  your user is deleted the BOM than its not possible to revoked the delete BOM so u create the new fresh BOM.

Deleted means components only or by activating DELETION flag @Header level ?
