Hi Friends,
We've been using SolMan ChaRM in our system and there is this thing called Cross System Object Lock (CSOL).
We know how it works but when it comes to deleting the CSOL entries, we're facing lot of difficulties.
In our landscape there are around 10,00,000 entries generated in the report extracted through /n/tmwflow/lockmon.
Now we've found out that most of these entries are not required and should be removed.
The problem is : there is no option available like "select all" in the system.
We certainly can not click-using mouse one by one- on those 10,00,000 entries and we do not want to deactivate the CSOL facility as well.
So how do we proceed now with the bulk deletion of CSOL entries?
I couldn't find any SAP note as well...
Please Help !!

Hi
CSOL lock are automatically deleted once the CR or CD is closed because TR has reached the final destination.
this note will help you
Note 936177 - Cross-system object lock: Deletion of objects
If you have closed all the CRs for the particular TRs shown in the lock monitor then there should not be any lock.or raise OSS if can't apply note and situation is similar.
hope it clarifies

Hi Prakhar - thanks for the answer. i am curious if there is any option or work around to perform a mass unlock on the requested objects.
Again, one needs to have a comprehensive strategy where unlocking large number of entries on a regular basis isn't needed. But there are at times where we need to unlock entries in a large scale.
thanks,
sid
