[VAR scenario] Factory calendar established in business hours for BP doesn't work

Former Member

Hi experts, we are using SM 7.1 SP5 (VAR scenario).

Messages that are created not in business hours of SAP Service Partner (VAR) and with priority "Very High" are automatically forwarded to the SAP Service Backbone.

The problem is that we try to use factory calendar (setting it in BP's calling hours in the "Control" tab) but it doesn't work. Has anybody succeeded with normal work of factory calendar for VAR incidents?

Please try maintaining calendar in SPRO or transation SCAL or using report SZC_FACTORY_CALENDAR_MAINTAIN.

Hello Artem,

Please check parameter described in this note 1793774 - VAR: Automatic forwarding to SAP after editing

Summary

Symptom

You are using the value-added reseller (VAR) configuration in incident management of the SAP Solution Manager 7.1.
You are using the function of automatic forwarding of messages to SAP.
You also want to forward messages to SAP that qualify for automatic forwarding (Prio1 and messages that are sent outside business hours or component-specific forwarding) even if the message does not have the system status "Open" (I1002).

Other terms

CHECK_FORWARD_CONDITIONS, AI_VAR_SEND_SAP_AUTO, Prio1, Very High

Reason and Prerequisites

There is a program error.

Solution

Implement this SAP Note.

If you do not want to forward messages only that have the system status "Open" (I1002), you must activate this function in transaction DNO_CUST04 (table DNOC_USERCFG).

To do this, perform the following steps:

  1. 1. Call transaction DNO_CUST04.
  2. 2. Create or change an entry with the field name VAR_AUTO_FWD_MSG_NOT_INITIAL.
  3. 3. Set the field value of the entry to 'X'.
