Dear Experts,
We have SAP Global Batch Traceability installed as add on in ECC.
Hence, I am expecting that the GBT functionality (ex: search batches) can be executed in NWBC if user has the role "SAP_GBT_EXPERT".
However, i see no batch information in GBT when I access GBT from NWBC.
I suspect that the integration is not complete yet.
Could you please help setting up the integration between ERP and GBT?
Regards,
shetty
Hi Shetty,
although it might be a bit late for you... but it might help others in the future.
Kevin already pointed out the main steps that need to be done to configure the integration between ECC and SAP GBT.
Please check the out the help topic "Configuration Information for SAP Global Batch Traceability - SAP Library" at help.sap.com/gbt10 .
In addition, our newly created SCN space SAP Global Batch Traceability (SAP GBT) provides general information regarding SAP GBT and contains all links to help pages and configuration content.
Best regards,
Christoph Huber

Shetty,
There is a lot that goes in to configuring the integration so you need to follow the installation guide.
In short the steps needed are:
1) Establish communication between ECC and GBT
2) Configure ALE for the needed IDocs to send master data to GBT
3) Define the jobs in GBT to pull the GM data from ECC
4) Run the initial load program
Thanks
Kevin
