Dear Gurus ,
I need a help with GATP Substitution ....
For eg.
Product A Product B
stock 100 pc 150 pc
Available Quota 200 pc 200 pc
Used Quota 0 pc 0 pc
ATP Based Rule with substitution Product A > Product B
Sales Order for product A is created with 130 pc
If do not have enough stock for product A , it is possible to do not confirm parcial order with 100 pc product A and 30 pc product B ....
but confirm full 130 pc with product B and allocate product B quota ?
After that the result will be
Product A Product B
stock 100 pc 20 pc
Quota 200 pc 200 pc
Used Quota 0 pc 130 pc
If i could not confirm full order quantity with product A , transfer full quantity to the substitute Product B and allocate their quota.
Please help me .
My best regards
Mauricio
Hi Muricio,
I guess if you will use RBA with preselection , then you can choose any of the product (A or B) to fulfill the SO requirement .

If set B on ECC how the system will work like scenarios bellow ?
Sales Order 10 pc
A) Product A 0 stock Product B 5 stock
Will confirm 5 products B .
B) Product A 5 stock Product B 10 stock
Will confirm 10 products B .
C) Product A 5 stock Product B 5 stock
Will confirm 5 products B .
D) Product A 5 stock Product B 0 stock
Will confirm 5 products A.
So if the product A could not confirm full order it will be pushed full to produtc B even the stock quantity at B is lower than the full order quantity and confirm parcial ?
f the product A could not confirm full order it will be pushed full to produtc B even the stock quantity at B is zero ?
Hope the masters help me ...

Hi Muricio,
This requirement will not be fullfilled setting B, system will first check for product A for full order quantity and if not able to confirm full order quantity then will check for product B for full order quantity, and will confirm only if full order quantity is available.

In check instruction, set 'start immediately' & 'create subitem' under RBA ATP Check and in rule definition (/SAPAPO/RBA04) , select 'Only one substitution' for 'Number of substitutions'.
Then depending on your product substition sequence and rule settings, system will propose only 1 product that can confirm the full requested quantity.

HI Mauricio,
I would not expect a fully confirmation in that case. The partial confirmation from the first subst. plant can be returned as a valid 1 substitution.
There is a second option I have already described some time ago..search for MISL and full confirmation in this forum. But this solution is much more complex to setup and might have some unwanted restrictions.

Michael

HI Mauricio,
I did a quick test in the system and the OVZJ rule = B is not used in case you press the ATP check button. This will lead to a Result mode = X and bring you the normal RBA list. Just in background
you will have the full delivery (e.g. running BOP).
You can modifiy the result mode easily in userexit
EXIT_SAPLATPC_001 in ECC.
Just change the P_ATPCSX[1]-resmd = B for your scenario and you should get the desired result.

Hi Mauricio,
Exactly, you can set the system to confirm full order quantity only in your ECC system transaction OVZJ.
So here what system would do is, it will check for whether full order quantity is available at your input location "A", if not then it will run substitution as per the RBA rule.
Only thing here is that, this is set at sales area level.

Hi Mauricio,
Please goto TA OVZJ and set the ATP rule to B ! This should bring the system to the requested
system behaviour.

Michael
