DDIC_TYPELENG_INCONSISTENT short dump in PI

Former Member

Hi,

we are getting following short dumps in our PI development system.

1) DDIC_TYPELENG_INCONSISTENT

2) The current ABAP program "SAPLSTUW" had to be terminated because one

of the statements could not be executed at runtime.

Error analysis

An inconsistency was discovered during access to the description of

data type "SWNCGLAGGTASKTIMES". According to ABAP load, the data

type 462 is  bytes long  but according to the dictionary information at runtime it is 460

  1. bytes.

This situation could occur if the data type was changed during the

runtime of the program.

we tried to follow Note 1229062 - DDIC_TYPELENG_INCONSISTENT in package SWNC. but coudn't understand it.

please help us resolve this issue.

we are getting error logs in SM21 as well for the same..

Please help us resolve this issue.

Thanks,

KN

Hi,

I think you are using 720 kernel... Is that true??

If yes, then you need to implement a note using SNOTE

Note 1610716 - Correcting runtime objects with incorrect alignment

This dump is explained in the note

Note 1636252 - Installing a 7.20 kernel in SAP Web AS 7.00/7.01/7.10/7.11

I hope this helps .

Thanks and Regards,
