SAPGetListOfMembers

Dear all,

I am looking for a formula providing the member list of one dimension after having filters applied?

If I am using SAPGetListOfMembers("DS_1","FILTER","0MATERIAL",,"KEY), I am getting all members from the crosstab,

but not the ones,e.g. restricted further with the background filter (should be less).

Also, is there any option/formula to pass the MemberList from DS_1 to DS_2 , means another worksheet, without using
"merge variables"?

Many thanks in adnvance for any hint.

Ralf

Hello,

I dont know such a formula in Analysis for Office, but you could easily create a macro that builds the list from a crosstab. Afterwards you can inject that list into the function SAPSetVariable to pass the list to filter DS_2.

Best regards,

Victor

Hi Victor,

SAPSetVariable is fine, as long as I have in my prompts.

What about reading the crosstab. Where can I find the members listed in the result set, sub set of teh cross tab. Any idea?
