SAP-Systems and Portal from different domains connection with SSO

Hello Experts,

Is it possible if you have two SAP-Systems and a Portal in different domains to make a connection with SSO. Do you know some meaningfull paragraph in the documentation on that topic because I searched but with no result.

Not with Logon Tickets since they are based on browser cookies which are by default restricted to the same domain. You should look into implementing either a X.509 certificate or SAML based solution.
