Posting period 001 2013 is not open

Dear All,

I have recently setup a new SAP Application Server. Since I am not a BASIS consultant, so I dont know all the configurations settings need to be done.

Now I am creating Data in the New SAP Server. I have already created PO, Vendor and done basic settings for it.

However I am facing some issues while Postings.

1. While doing MIGO Posting, I am getting Error

      Posting period 001 2013 is not open

I have changed the year settings in OB52. and called Transaction MMPV also. I also executed T-Code OBH2 but no output from OBH2.

Can someone suggest me what needs to be done??

Hi Ruchi,

It is due to period not open in OB52 ,please check once again and let me know ,if same issue persist. Send posting period varaint ,which is assigned to company code and OB52 screen shot ,if not solved.

Thank you so much. Your solution worked. I have not maintained posting period variant ,which is assigned to company code in OBBP Transaction.

Then I maintained an entry in FBN1 transaction. this solved my problem for MIGO Transaction.

Please attach screen shot of T-Code = OB52 as it is highly likely that you are missing anything there.
