at MIRO, Error Balancing field “Profit Center” in line item 001 not filled”for retention item.

I have activate a business function ” LOG_MMFI_P2P ” after the activation following i am able to perform the following activities.

1) Advance clearing done at the MIRO level.
2) Retention money will capture at MIRO level (IF it will maintain on PO)

All the above are working properly & system passing poper entries.

Will saving the the transcation system givin an error
“Balancing field “Profit Center” in line item 001 not filled”

when i am Saving without retention item its Posting the Document.

but with retention item(%)in miro, then it showing error.

I have check all the setting on Document splling it is fine as per my option.

Kindly let know where i am missing.

Hi,

This issue comes only when system is unable to derive the profit center in any given line...It is surely to do with you document split and profit center derivation..

try by assigning default profit center in Financial Accounting (New)->General Ledger Accounting (New)->Document Splitting->Edit Constants for Nonassigned Processes.

If this resolves and document is getting posted, then you have to check your profit center assignments strategy..
