Idoc failure workflow getting triggered for idoc success(status 53) also

Hi all,

I am trying to trigger a workflow whenever an inbound idoc gets into the error status(51). I did the event linkage for object IDOCORDERS with event INPUTERROROCCURRED to the standard task TS00008046. Also i assigned the agents to receive the work item in partner profiles(WE20).

Now i am getting the work items for status 51, but along with this i am also getting the work items whenever idoc is posted successfully(Status 53). I don't want the work item to be triggered for status 53. I am not able to understand why it is getting triggered for status 53 with event INPUTERROROCCURRED as i am using the standard task and standard message type.

Please help me out how can i avoid triggering workflow only for status 51 without copying the FM IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS and making the changes in it. I think there should be something which i need to maintain/configure to not to get the work items for status 53.

Hi Pankaj,

In your Event Linkage (SWETYPV) you can implement a check function module. Hope it helps.
