Error entry no.83 error when creating absence quota

Hi All,

When I am running PT60, I am getting error "entry no.83 error when creating absence quota".

The scenario, we have Students/Contractors & Regular Employees as Emp. Subgroup.

For Students/Contractors, there is no Planned working hrs and WS is FLEX. And also, there is no Abs. quota type maintained in configuration and they are not eleigible for any leave, so no quota

For Regular employees, the WS is REG and 8hrs per day. Abs. quota type is maintained for Regular employees.Vacation is 3.333 hrs on every payroll period (Bi-Monthly) and Sick Leave is 80 hrs for calendar year and pro rates whenever emp. joins.

Now, the issue is employee has been hired on 12/09/2012 as Student/Contractor. And as on 07/01/2013 he has been changed to Regular employee.

We went live on 01/01/2013, so the time evaluation starts from 01/01/2013. When PT60 runs we are getting the error "entry no.83 error when

creating absence quota".

I tried doing this also, I entered the Earl. pers. rec. date to 07/01/2013 when he got changed from Student to Regular and now the error is not coming. But the sick leave is calculating wrongly and showing in Negative.

The vacation is getting updated correctly, but Sick leave should have updated to 78.5 hrs. But, sick leave quota is running on daily and updating to 248.60- (Daily) and as on to 24/04/2013 the entitlement for sick is showing 26749.8000-.

Rule for Sick Leave:

Hi Srikanth ,

Please check this table V_001P_H, and check the grouping you have assigned for your PSA's  and ESG in the quota generations.

and also check ,groupings in Define Generation Rules for Quota Type Selection.

  System was picking  same groupings that as defined for another quota. So I have deleted that quota that is not required .in Define Generation rules for quota type selection table.

Hi Siva,

Initially, it was the same ESG and it was running from the start date. After, I changed the Earl. pers rec.date in IT0003, I am not getting any error for vacation and it is accruing correctly. But for Sick leave quota, eligibility is 80hrs for Calendar year and it runs one time for the whole year.

But now, it runs daily and updating 246.000- in negative and as on 24/04/2013 it shows entitlement of 26749.00-.

Okay,

but the sick leave is 80 hours per annum, that means 0.219 per day.

check the constant value ZSICK = ?  in table V_T511K table,

ZSICK is maintained in the table.

If i run time evaluation for any new emp. who joined after 01/01/2013, sick leave quota is calculating correctly.

But for the employee who moved from Student -> Regular emp., for him it is showing up in Negative value and calculating daily.

Please check the employment status in IT0001 and ESG and groupings, there should be in grouping issues.

i hope, you need to do small change the rule.
