Crystal Xcelsius - "Server Busy" Message

I am using Xcelsuis 2008 to create dashboards.  When I attempt to open any of the dashboards that I have already created, I get an error message:

"Server Busy. This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy.  Choose "Switch to" to activate the busy program and correct the problem."  The error box gift options are  "Switch to" and "Retry".  Neither works.  I thought that is might be an Excel issue so I ran a repair on  Microsoft Office to remove any problems. That did not help.  I am using Excel 2007 and Xcelsius 2008. Please advise.  Thank you

Hi,

As suggested in your other post within task manager find Xcelsius in Processes (not in applications) right click on it and set its priority to high.

I was not ble to minimize the screen as suggested.  I even had the assistance of a more computer savvy co-worker and he was unable to minimize the screen.  When Xcelsius is running, we found that Excel and Xcelsius was only running a single process each.

Could you go to Task Manager and kill the EXCEL process. This might be the issue you are having.

I tried that.  Excel does not show up in thte Task Manager when I get this error.  I have had a repair done to Excel.  I have reinstallled Crystal Xcelsius.  I am using Excel 2007 and Xcelsius 2008.  Are they compatible?
