Hi All,
I'm currently updating a product of ours to include support for Bin Locations which is now exposed in v9.
I am having an issue with the StockTaking object which does not appear to support bin allocations. I've got v9 PL03 installed on my test machine and I am able to manually do a Stock Take through the B1 Client, but querying the DI Server for the record does not pass back any Bin Location information. I am also not able to create a Stock Taking record through the DI Server with Bin Location information on it.
Does anybody know if this is actually supported?
Regards,
Darren
I have talked to support about this issue. Currently they have no plans to add this
function back into the DI-API.
I have put an “Idea” at:
Maybe if we get enough votes they will add it back in.

After raising the issue with SAP support they have confirmed that the StockTaking object will be removed from the v9 API as it is not longer used.
They have said that they will be exposing the new Stock Counting screen functionality through the API but have given no date as to when this will be available.

Hi Darren,
In the DI API there are child objects for entering bin location information for stock transfers and on the marketing documents but there isn't the equivalent in the StockTaking object. Hopefully they will include it soon but I don't know if it will make it in for general release.
Kind Regards,
Owen

Darren,
I also noticed that there is a template for DTW (Bin Locations), news there that will be available in 9.0 PL04. I believe it will also be available.

Darren try new version of SAP Business One 9.0 PL04. There are considerable corrections in DTW.
