Release Note Documentation OPS_EHS_CI_1

Hi,

We have activated the Business Function OPS_EHS_CI_1. Could any one please provide release documentation. It seems the link available on SAP marketplace ( https://websmp104.sap-ag.de/bfp) has wrong documentation.

Regards,

N.S

Dear Naveen

the SAP online help is helping here as well:

http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/en/1c/4d449ace914048bbc489468e811a98/content.htm

With this business functcion you can extend EH&S at many places. Which extension is of interest?

Hi Christoph,

With respect to the same business function, OPS_EHS_CI_1, we are looking to use the flexible hazardous substance check in Hazardous Substance Management.

But the pre-requisites for OPS_EHS_CI_1 state that Waste Management, EHS Expert & Open Content Connector and Global Label Management also should be activated.

If my requirement is to only use the Flexible Hazardous Substance Check, will I also need to have Waste Management, EHS Expert & Open Content Connector and Global Label Management activated?

Thank you,

Sruthi

Dear Sruthi

you can not "subactivate" a business function. If you activate OPS_EHS_CI_1 any new option is there. It is not mandatory to execute then any further customizing activity; you need to check what you need and how you would like to achieve the business demand.

Keep in mind: a support package delivers legal changes and error fixing; an "Enhancement Package" delivers new implementation options (which are not ! legal driven).

Check may be: http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-44643
