Update Back-to-Back Sales Order, linked to same Purchase Order

Dear all,

Version: SAP B1 882 PL09

After create the Sales Order, we can click on Procurement Document to copy information to a Purchase Order.

When user changes the item code in Sales Order, the Procurement Document will prompt to create a new Purchase Order. Is there anyway we can do to link the new Item back to same Purchase Order?

Hi Lay Chin,

Not possible to link new item to same purchase order.

If you change item in PO, there is no relationship between sales and purchase order.

Dear Lay Chin,

As Naga answered already, it is not possible to link the new item with old PO. If you still want to use one PO, manually editing old PO without link for new item might be your only option.
