Hi Buddy
I have creating the following release strategy
1. PO Type: ZSV8
Purchase Group: 341
Release Group: GP
Release Strategy: H4
PO Amount >= 200,000 JPY
--------
2. PO Type: ZSV8
Purchase Group: 341
Release Group: GP
Release Strategy: H3
PO Amount < 200,000 JPY
----------
Eg: Point 1. If I have give less than 200000 amount in PO , release strategy is not triggering as per first point
Point 2. If I have give more than 200000 amount in PO , release strategy is not triggering as per first point.
Can you anybody tell me, how system will behave while creating PO for respective amount. that means while PO based on above amounts system is not triggering the respective release strategy for respective amounts.
Kindly tell me are there any settings is missing.
Thank you.

Hi,
it seems the release strategy is not working for net value. Please check the characteristic used for net value.

Hi,
Read my above reply and do re-setting to your Release Strategies.
You must do enter values <= 200,000 JPY and > 200,000 JPY in purchase order release characteristics for PO Value and then add this release characteristics for PO Value in PO release class.
Now do adding values by re-setting to Release Strategy: H4 and Release Strategy: H3 with value <= 200,000 JPY and > 200,000 JPY respectively.
Go for creation of purchase orders with a purchase order value less then 200,000 JPY & another purchase order of value more then value 200,000 JPY and see how release triggering!

it could be that it has something to do with the decimals.
JPY currency does not have decimals ( actually I wonder how you could enter 2,140.00 , this number has 2 decimals)
because of that fact the value field in the EKPO table is filled in a kind of strange way (for some people) because a value of 10000 yen is stored as 100.00 because all value fields in SAP have technically 2 decimals)
Hi Jurgen.
Your are right , i was testing JPY currency POs with reference old POs.
suddenly USD currency PO was used and i did not observe PO is USD currency, That's why the decimals has come 100.00, that's the reason, the deference has come in amounts and i have changed to JPY currency , Now its fine
Highly Appreciate your thoughts
Thank you and thanks for all for your valueble inputs.
Happy weekend for all.

Hi,
You can have following value in your release strategies
Release strategy-1. PO Type: ZSV8 Purchase Group: 341 Release Group: GP Release Strategy: H4 PO Amount <= 200,000 JPY
Release strategy-2. PO Type: ZSV8 Purchase Group: 341 Release Group: GP Release Strategy: H3 PO Amount > 200,000 JPY
Now creates two purchase orders with purchase order value less then 200,000 JPY & purchase order value more then value 200,000 JPY and see the difference!
