IRJ page not opening...

Hii all,

i am installing SAP EP 6.0 on my server...

I have installed...

1) JAVA SDK

2) MS SQL 2000

3) J2EE Engine

4) Portal Platform

5) Content Management and Collaboration

6) Application Sharing For collaboration

as mentioned in SAP Best Practice Installation Guide.

after this in Postimplementation Tests, it tells to open iView Runtime for Java (irj) page to test the installation at this stage..

but in my case it shows blank page..

it does not show even logon page.

can anyone help on this issue please..

Are you saying that solved the problem with starting http://host:port/useradmin as well? That's strange...

Hi,

Component <b>com.sap.portal.navigation.portallauncher.default</b> is responsible to show you the irj. In your case check the logs to find any errors that are occuring.

Hi Praveen,

Actually when i give IRJ Url in the adress bar... it does not show anything in the content area.

whole screen remains blank, not even any error comes and on the uppermost bar it writes "Loading Portal".

any hints????

Can you start /useradmin? Are you using a fully qualified hostname (not ip address)?

Also, I suggest you install EP7 - EP6 is an older technology...

I am not able to open useradmin page as well.

and YES, i am using fully qualified host name.

If the useradmin page is also blank, then you have real problems! Is it asking for authentication?

I suggest restarting your whole Java instance...

no its not asking for anything....

it just shows a blank white page....nothing else...there is no error also which it is displaying....

and i restarted the server as well Michael.

plz help...

I think your installation has a lot of problems (or one single problem that is causing everthing else to fail).

Please look at the default.trc file and see if there are any messages that seem to make sense.
