Hi

I am using bex as a design tool for my query. I am putting the values from bex query to excel sheet and on excel sheet i am having my prompt cell such as years. My dashboard is working fine for all my dashboards in prematurity stages but dont know what happen near maturity stage. The below error occurs when I preview my dashboard, creating swf file. It started happening to all my dashboards linked to bex query. Once i remove the connection of prompt cell from the excelsius. The dashboard works fine without any errors.

My question why this doesn't happen in start and now error is occuring. Previously i was using dashboard version 4 when error occured then i read threads in which some one told that in latest versions the issue is addressed, now using version six but the same problem

Hi Jawad

If you want to publish it on web you need some microsoft compatible components which should not be a part of pirated copy,as suggested,microsoft frontpage,office,access which can also be a responsible tool for creating charts ,spreadsheet in Dashboard's.

Please Check whether you are using the Original License Version of the above tools,which may resolve your problem(as you mentioned that you upgraded which eventually needs the upgrade of the microsoft supporting web tools also).

If You are using any add-on Component also check whether you have the flex 4 component upgraded.

Hi Jawad,

Did you check the SAP NOTE # 1804169 - XLS 000009 error happens when refreshing Dashboards when it contains Bex query data source and it will return no data after refreshing

We have installed Dashboard SP5 Patch 06, but the same problem is occuring.

One further question does this patch rectifies the already made dashboards or a remedy for new dashboards to not made such errors.

Also tell me what other things can I do resolve my problem.

I have seen the same issue with, bex prompt when we try to send from excel,

is this correct?

please let me inform you we can only send the bex data from "query prompt selector" component only.

Yes, I am giving a prompt cell from excel sheet, and it was working nicely earlier, before the error starts happening when I have done a lot of work. If it is not possible how it is working earlier?

In my query browser, prompts section, I was connecting my query fiscal year and insert it in spread sheet. For using combo box to choose different fiscal years for my dashboards.Please view the below picture. Also I have given trigger cell at the start of my query building.

What other options do I have to use prompt for my fiscal years and make my dashboards dynamic? Help Appreciated. How you have counter this issue.
