RSPO1043: RAISE EXCEPTION

Former Member

Hi,

We're on ECC 603...our spool consistency job (RSPO1043) ran without any issues till 2 days ago...

Since then, its been dumping with a RAISE EXCEPTION:

A RAISE statement in the program "SAPLSTMS" raised the exception

condition "FB_RSTS_OTHER".

Since the exception was not intercepted by a superior

program, processing was terminated.

Short description of exception condition:

Other Errors Reported by TemSe C System

Everything else on the system is good...Spool reorg job & other jobs are completing fine.

The  Work process trace for the terminated job reads:

ERROR => missing close of spool request [rspoooh.c     1177]

We haven't run an SP12 check yet...please advise.....

Thanks a lot !

Saba.

Hi Saba,

Technically Temse does not let you create a object larger than 2GB. May be in your case it is exceeding more than 2 GB and hence the job failed.

Hi Deepak,

Yes...I too suspect this to be the problem...is there any way I can find the offending object/spool & get rid of it ?

Hi Johan,

Thanks !....We were hoping subsequent runs of RSPO1043 would address the issue...but looks like SP12 is called for now...

Thank you so much

Saba.

Hi Deepak,

We were seeing this problem on 2 of our Production systems...where RSPO1043 was failing daily with the same dump...

We ran SP12 on both & deleted the KONS* entry which had the below description:

Incorrect number of data lines in TST03

Post this, the job finished fine...

Thank you.

Hi,

Run SP12 consistency check what deepak says is correct and this will be the problem.
