Hi Martin,

The SP 09 is as a whole to SAP Netweaver right?

Is there anything specific to SAP PI 7.3 or does it cover PI as well.

Netweaver has to be configured with the corresponding usage types for PI, see the Master Guide, section 2.1 about usage types and especially 2.2 Mapping of Use Cases to Installable Software Units as well as 3.3. Building Integration Scenarios.

It will cover PI as well. But you should note that some of the service packs may not have anything specific to PI.
