Hi experts,
i'm facing an issue in the version 10 of SAP BFC. It seems that the web client doesn't recognize the comma (,) as decimal separator. When a copy/paste is done from Excle into a package in the web client, the system understand e.g. 2,3 as 23. In the previous version this was not the case. Is this a regression in BFC 10.0 or it has something to do with the webserver settings?
Thanks for your answers
Dany
Hi Dany,
The behavior with the copy/paste in Excel has changed in BO FC 10.
You can see below the documentation of the product refering to your question:
You can copy data from a Microsoft Excel sheet and paste it into a data entry schedule.
Caution:
You must ensure the following in order for the data to be copied correctly:
• The language selected in the regional settings of the client machine must correspond to the application
language in the Financial Consolidation Web client.
• The number and currency formats in the regional settings of the client machine must be the default
ones for the selected language.
