SERC 2013-1: Errors

Dear All,

I have completed all the steps for SERC 2013-1, and found out following errors:

1. While executing expert rules with secondary data determination, I am getting following errors:

ZEXP_HC_EU

Invalid reference value in field VAL_AREA
Invalid reference value in field

ZEXP_CAA

Regulatory list: Value "" not found
Regulatory list: Value "ZUS_VOCEX" not found
Value ZUS_VOCEX in characteristic does not exist

ZEXP_CWA

Regulatory list: Value "" not found
Regulatory List: Value "ZUS_CWA307" not found
Value ZUS_CWA307 in characteristic does not exist

ZEXP_RESST

Regulatory List: Value "" not found
Regulatory List: Value "ZAU_CARC" not found
Value ZAU_CARC in characteristic does not exist

2. Symbol Error

While importing report templates, I am getting below errors:

"Symbol GEST0DGHC is not defined"

I have not completely tested the SERC update but I could locate above errors at first glance.

Would request you all to please help urgently.

Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.

Hi Mihir,

Below are my comments for each point

1)

ZEXP_HC_EU

The validity for ZEXP_HC_EU is REG_EU. Please check in tabel TCG91 whether REG_EU is available. if it is then make sure that, User Exit ZEXP_HC_EU has following entries

Regulatory List ZAU_CARC is not defined. Please define the same.

2) Report Symbol GEST0DGHC: Please import following 2 TRs in your system to have this report symbol.

K900522.NE5 & R900522.NE5

Thanks for your reply.

All the expert rule relevant errors, I was able to resolve by creating validity area and regulatory list.

Regarding symbol error, we have already imported both the transport request but

changes relevant to symbol GEST0DGHC are not delivered completely with the transport requests. .

If you can check in your system and if the symbol exists there, can you please provide me the details of the symbol, i.e. Table and field name.

Hi Mihir,

I am happy to see that, my suggestions for point 1 worked at your end.

Now, point no :2.

Please note that, Report Symbol GEST0DGHC is not delivered with 2012-2A and it is part of only 2013-1 so TRs - K900522.NE5 & R900522.NE5 must be having this report symbol config.

Property Tree and Characteristics details for this symbols are as follows,

Property: Dangerous goods classification (SAP_EHS_1022_023)

Tab page: Transport classification, Column: Code (GEST0DGHC)

Can you send me the screen shot of these 2 TRs ( SE01) with all nodes open so that i can check it.

Hello Amol,

I checked the transport requests already, but there is an entry for symbol "GEST0DGHC" in TCGA6 table, but it is missing in TCGA7 table.

I believe these entries will now be required to be entered manually.

I also found that based on the details given by SERC documents, symbol GTHM0LDBC, can also be used in place of symbol GEST0DGHC. Because both the symbols essentially point to  the same details.

Let me know your views on the same.

Hi Mhir,

1) yes, if entry is not available in TCGA7 you need to add it manually. TCGA7 is any how just for

EHS: Language-Dependent Description for Report Symbol

2) Regarding report symbol -GTHM0LDBC. This report symbol is fetching the 'Classificaiton Code' from "DG: Risk Potential' table. if the report symbol GEST0DGHC also having mapping to table THM071 and field LDBC then you can use GTHM0LDBC inplace of GEST0DGHC.

But, as a matter of practice, it is not advisable to change the standard templates delivered by SAP. In our case, it is just a matter of maintaining TCGA7 table. so that is more easy rather than editing the templates and replacing the symbols.

I got the reply from my SAP counterpart and resolved the issue by creating symbol manually.

The symbol details are as below:

Parameter: Table

Table Name: EST0D

Field Name: HAZCHEM_CODE

Description: Hazchem Code

Expansion Time: Symbol Value is spec. - dependent ( expand in report body )
