Integration solution for ECC & non-SAP mobile app

Dear Experts,
We have created Web service in ECC and it needs to be consumed by a mobile application. (This mobile app is not a SAP solution.)
Users will login in the mobile app using their LDAP (network) userid & password. This user id has to flow to ECC system. After successful login, web service will provide data to mobile app.

What is the best approach to build this integration?
Option#1: Mobile -> SAML 2.0 -> ECC: Consume ECC web service directly in mobile. Implement SAML for user authentication.
Option#2: Mobile -> Portal -> ECC: Integrate ECC & mobile app using Portal service.
Option#3: Mobile -> PI -> ECC: Integrate ECC & mobile app using PI.

Or any other solution?

Note: We do not have SUP (Sybase unwired plateform) or SAP Netweaver Gateway at this point.

Hope you would be doing good.

Did you find / finalize the best approach to integrate ECC based web services with non sap mobile applications.

If yes, please let me know the solution in detail.

If you followed any other approach also apart from the ones mentioned above, please do let me know.
