Steps to connect BPC 10.0 MS version to Dashboard Design 4.0

Dear ALL,

I'm a new comer to SAP BPC.

I have successfully installed BPC 10.0 MS version and setup a model, with some Input Forms and so (tho I'm still struggling on how to create some Business Rules for calculating the number).

The next step is I want to create some reports on top of it, and so I have installed Dashboard Design 4.0.

I can create some Graphs and Charts in that Dashboard Design 4.0, but only by connecting to some External Excel Files. I have surfed a number of web but could not find any introducing how to connect to BPC 10.0 MS version (there are a few introducing how to connect to BPC 10.0 NW version).

Can anyone give me a hand by showing me the steps to connect to BPC 10.0 MS version with Dashboard Design 4.0?

Hi Karsten,

Thanks for your reply. I actually follow the steps exactly using the pdf you forwarded.

If you refer to my screen captured, I'm up to the step to input the server URL. Just right after, I have no idea how to select the desired Environment or Model. Those textboxes are not accessible or there is simply no retrieve button. Any hints?
