How to install HANA software components HANA Live (HCO_HBA_ECC)

Hi all experts,

Can someone guide me on how to install HANA software component "HCO_HBA_ECC" , which is the prerequisite for OEE, and also this is a product for HANA Live for SAP ERP ?

I just find a brief introduction, but I can not find a steps to  follow.

SAP Library - SAP HANA Live for SAP ERP

I can find HANA CONTENT HBA SAP ECC from support.sap.com, but I'm not clear how to use it.

Any feedback is welcome. Thanks in advance.

Hi Kai,

Go to link http://help.sap.com/hba and download the Administrator Guide.

You find on it a series of SAP Notes pointing to what be need.

In general what you need is:

- have a schema with tables on your HANA system (if not using SoH, you must replicate the ERP tables to HANA. There's a list of these tables on sap notes from administrator guide)

- run some scripts before import the package also from SAP Note

- import the package you download as .tgz

Comment: Last time I tried the list of tables was not up-to-date on SAP Note and was necessary a bit more... So after import/activation I saw the error with missing table, add it to SLT, deleted all the package and started again till face no errors.

Thank you for reply, but I still got confused by this. Honesty I still do not find a useful way that can follow from the admin guide.

Would you please give me a clearer way that can follow step by step? Such as,

1, ........

2, ........

3, ........

Hi Kai,

You really must go for Administrator Guide to a complete guidance, anyhow to deploy only the ECC package it's simple what I wrote on first reply:

- load tables

- import the package on Studio with File -> Import -> follow the wizard

Can we install delivery unit "HCO_HBA_CRM" in " Starter edition of SAP HANA Cloud platform" ?

Delivery unit is for virtual data models for “SAP HANA Live for SAP CRM”

Is there any additional cost apart from Starter edition monthly cost ?
