Unable to edit the xxx connection: CS: Specified RDBMS is invalid DAC0002

After migrating many DB2 Universes from XI 3.1 to BI4.0, some reports have errors related to the DB2 v7 Drivers since they are not available on BI4.0. When I try to edit the connections via Designer, it throws this error:

Unable to edit the xxx connection: CS: Specified RDBMS is invalid : DB2 UDB for OS/390 v7 network layer is not available. (DAC0002)

Where xxx is the Connection Name.

Is there a tweak we can do on BI4 that allows us to edit the DB2 v7 connection and change just the driver from v7 to v8 or higher? Also, it wipes out the User ID and Password when you change it on XI 3.1. We have hundreds and finding the Passwords to all of them will be difficult if not impossible. So, we need SAP to do a better job of not clearing data we aren't editing. Has anyone submitted a message or idea on this?

Thanks,

Jon
