Easy DMS - issue while creating a link in private root folder

Hi All,

I have the below issue in Easy DMS application.

When user perform the below steps

1. Login into Easy DMS application

2. Search for a document

3. From search results user is trying to Drag the document and place it in one of his folders (created inside Private Root Folder). When he perform the step user is getting an option to Add as link and Copy the document (this is as usual), but when user choose to any option then the Easy DMS pplication is not responding and after few mins Easy DMS logon screen is coming up and asking the user to login once again. Once user provide his login credentials then the task is getting successful.

How do we restrict Easy DMS application to make the functionality successful without providing the login details second time. Is there any settings specific to users in EasyDMS application for Drag & drop functionality.

The issue is happening for few users only. I have checked the user authorizations and everything looks fine.with the same authorizations other users are able to perform the task without any issue.

Please advice what could be the reason for the above issue in Easy DMS application.

We are currently using SAP EASY DMS 7.1.4.4 (Unicode) version.

Hi Sid,

regarding this behavior maybe the reason is that there are still some 'old' Z_EASYDMS_* function modules in your system. Could you please check this in the backend transaction SE37?

Another reason could be that the S_TABU_RFC permission is missing for the affected users. For further information please see http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/x/UwRIF.
