SAP Netweaver 7.4 Installation issue

Hi,

I am installing SAP Netweaver 7.4 ABAP on Windows 2008 R2 and Oracle 11.2.  During SAP Kernel selection of package, it is asking for SAP:AKK:740:UKERNEL*.WINDOWS_X86_64.*.  I have downloaded Kernel Windows X64 from Service market place.  I don't see kernel version Windows_X86_64 for download.

Am I missing anything?

--> 51046232_2  -  SAP KERNEL 7.40 UC Windows Server on x64 64 Bit

Your SAP S-User id is required to download this file.

Hello,

It is known issue when you use the EXT kernel during installation, it throws this error.

So during the installation you need to provide Unicode kernel for your version.

You can use the link provided by Americo to download the unicode kernel and give the path.

After completion of installation , you can switch to EXT kernel  by doing kernel upgrade.

I did download 51046232_2.  Installation GUI was asking x86_64 which was in folder inside of the main kernel folder.

Hi Digesh,

If you are sure you downloaded the correct kernel, try editing the label.asc file and change the previous content to SAP:AKK:740:UKERNEL:*:WINDOWS_X86_64:*

Editing the label.asc file is a bad way to go about installing media from SAP; if it tells you that it isn't finding something, there is probably a good reason to take the time to find what it wants.
