Employee File Management - ESS Upload Error

Hi,

I am using application ess_dc_int through the portal with the following parameters:

sap-client=XXX

&sap-language=EN

&PROJECT=ZZXXX

&VIEWID=110

&TOGGLE_NODETYPE=T_HRSTAMM

&SELFIELD1=PERNR

&TOGGLE_NODETYPE_INDEX=3

&TOGGLE_NODETYPE1=MAINTENANCE

When I try to upload a document through the folder structure I get an error which reads "Please specify a sub-object for object /IXOS/DC_WD". The detail of the error is "Sub-objects are maintained for application log object /IXOS/DC_WD. No sub-object was specified here, so it is not clear which one is meant."

I have entered the object /IXOS/DC_WD in the table accessed through transaction SLG0 with the subobjects as

/IXOS/DL_C	Client Scenario
/IXOS/DL_F	Upload Scenario
/IXOS/DL_G	GOS Scenario
/IXOS/DL_U	Common

Now obviously either my subobject entries are incorrect or I have to add this to some other table as well.

Does anyone know what could be wrong?

Can you please check the cirtificate of EFM Archive Repository in opentext. This cirtificate should be enabled.

Hi Saroj,

I was able to resolve the issue. Took a lot of debugging and tracing.

It was actually an authorization issue because of which for some users it was not able to read data from the customizing. That is why the error that it is maintained but not able to determine which one to use.
