BO 3.1: SSO not working for load balanced URL

Former Member

Hi !

Our BO 3.1 system has 2 servers both running SIA & Tomcat...& a third DB server...

Users use a load balanced URL to access the servers...

I've configured SSO with AD...which works well if you enter the individual server names in the URL...

However, for the load balanced URL: http://loadbalancer:8080/InfoViewApp/logon.jsp, it just prompts for login credentials...

The SPN for the load balancer has been set: HTTP/loadbalancer

I've followed the guide by Tim...is there some setting in the xml files / somewhere else where one needs to enter the loadbalancer details...

Please help...

Thank you !

Saba.

has that spn created based on FQDN of loadbalancer ?

Hi,

The SPN has been created just for the "DNS"

We use http://DNS:8080/InfoViewApp/logon.jsp to access BO...

Non SSO users use the FQDN for manual logins...

We have the same setup working well on a single system...with SSO users using the "loadbalancer" URL (DNS name) & non SSO users using the FQDN i.e. DNS.domain.com...on this system too, SPN is set only for DNS & not DNS.domain.com...

Thanks !
