Hardware migration with DB Upgrade

Hi Experts,

I am planning to do hardware migration with DB upgrade,please suggest.

current system ECC6 SR3 ,Win2003/SQL Server 2005 32 bit

Target System ECC6.0 SR3 win 2012/SQL Server 2012 64 bit

i am planning as system copy method  with DB backup/restore method.

Please suggest....

Hello,

You can use homogeneous system copy method for this with database upgrade but there are certain restrictions related to support package for window 2012. Please check SAP note 1721575 for more information.
