Hi Tulika,

Upload image from Design Studio is only possible in case of BIP.

For Netweaver Platform, these images needs to be uploaded into the MIME repository and then the same can be used in Design Studio.

1. Logon to the BW system.

2. Transcation --> SE80

3. Go to MIME repository.

4. Create a new Folder E.g. My_MIME.

5. Import images from local system.

6. Goto Design Studio --> Connect to the same NW backend.

7. Insert IMAGE component.

8. Load the image from the MIME repository.

Note:

Load images in .gif format

Hi Bharath,

I have created MIME Repository following by above step. Still i have little bit confusion on step-8.

Actually i want to know

1) How i am able to get this MIME Repository Option in my Design studio?

2) Or is it mandatory to keep always in .gif format,If Yes then Why??

Thanks,

Tulika

Hi Tulika,

There is no special setting required for Design Studio to access MIME objects.

When you add an Image component and go to Properties Pane --> Display --> Image.

When you press the value help button, you should be seeing the images from MIME repository.

If not, contact your BW system admin to provide necessary rights in PFCG for your user to view the MIME repository. If you want to upload images then you may need - Change, Delete, Create and Execute rights.
