Simplified Shopping Cart and Attachments

Dear all,

we are doing pilot project regarding SRM 7.02.

Procurement department wants to use Simplified Shopping Cart functionality. But we need also to add attachments there.

You have experience with this issue? Is it a big deal to implement this feature to this simplified shopping cart?

Hi CS,

This is standard functionality of SRM to add attachment at Line item level. Are you looking something special such as file size or the attachment?

However to transfer attachment from SRM to ECC you need to activate BADI.

Hello Ritesh,

unfortunately it is not standard in the "simplified shopping cart". In the other shopping carts it is included. Our business likes the simlplicity of this shopping cart, but attachment feature is still mandatory to be able to attach.

Hi Chirstian - did you manage to solve this?  We want to do the same thing, and as with you, the cart is a bit too simple.  We want the attachments back + a couple of other things.

no unfortunately not. We use professional shopping cart for this.

Maybe we will try in future some adjustments to simple shopping cart

Could you please let me know what is the BADI needs to be activated for specific transfering  attachment from SRM to ECC
