Error Finding Serial Numbers from SerialNumber Selection

One of my user is getting an "Serial Number Not Found" error when trying to "FIND" serial numbers from the Serial Number Selection Screen in AR invoice. The serial number is Available in the system and she is able to FILTER and select the same serial number in the serial number selection screen.

All my other users have no such issues and they are able to find the serial number just fine.

is there is any user settings for this user i should check for to resolve this issue?

thanks

raghu

Hi Raghuram Prabakar

Check with the below note

You are logged in to SAP Business One as a non-superuser.

You are searching for existing Serial Numbers on the Serial Number Selection form using the Find field.

You receive the following error message: “Serial number not found”

Workaround:

Please sort the list by Serial Number by double-clicking on the Serial Number column header, for the search to work correctly. Upon reopening the from the list should be ordered by Serial Number and you should not experience the error again.

Hi raghu,

First check if this user has any User Default setup. What is the user license type?

Thanks,

Gordon

thanks for the reply gordon

Yes this user does have the user default. But this user default is applied to other users as well who dont have this problem.

The user License Type is "Professional User"

Have you checked authorization? Are there any differences with other users?
